Kasin K. Hamilton

Lead Pastor

At an early age of 17, Pastor Kasin was called into the ministry. While attending Benjamin E. Mays High School, he heard the call from God and as most do, tried to run. After many failed attempts to move towards a football career and having been offered a full scholarship to Appalachian State University, he quickly realized the hurdles placed before him were divinely designed to keep him from choosing an athlete's dream. He also discovered the rejections were spiritual directions to keep him on the path God destined for him.

In the year of 2003, Pastor Kasin surrendered to the call of God. Several years ago God laid it on his heart to build a ministry for people that needed to be restored back to their faith, family, fitness, and finances. This is where the name "Redemption" Church came from. Redemption Church is a place of restoration.

Pastor Kasin has received his AA in Biblical Studies from Carver College (Atlanta, GA) and a BS in Psychology & Christian Counseling from Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA). He is also the author of “Life Is a Sermon”,"40 Commandments of Preachers" and Marriage Is Not for Everyone. Kasin has received numerous awards noting his excellence in ministry. Most notably he was awarded the “Raymond Stark Gimper” award that acknowledges a college student who excels above mediocrity in ministry. In addition, Kasin is a fourth-grade educator at Kipp Soul Charter school. Lastly, Kasin has been appointed by Bishop McCrorey of the GA/FLA UCOGIC denomination as the superintendent for Atlanta the Metro District. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University.

Pastor Kasin and his wife Jasmine have four beautiful daughters, Kennedi, Kai, Kaylah and Keziah. His greatest desire is to impact this generation through the word of God.
